Due to the growth of handheld laser welding, the demand for automation has increased significantly. That’s why, together with our partners, we have developed a scalable robotic cell that is easy to integrate — suitable for both small and large workpieces.
Laser welding robot package for integrators
For robot laser welding, LAZRZ offers a Robot Package. This package includes the essential hardware needed to perform laser welding with a robot. Our LAZRZ robot laser welding package can easily communicate with the robot controller. Welding parameters can be called up or monitored directly by the robot control system. The robot package is available in 1500, 2000, and 3000 Watt versions.
The system is delivered in a 19” rack and includes:
- Laser source
- Water cooler
- Welding head
- Electrical control
- Display
Communication
Communication between the robot and the laser welding system takes place over Ethernet. Through this connection, jobs can be called up, or welding parameters can be controlled individually. The robot system can set the laser welding parameters in two ways:
- Welding programs stored in the laser system’s memory can be accessed by the robot.
- The robot can transmit the welding parameters directly to the welding unit via Ethernet.
